  BLOG

After graduation, it’s time to face the big challenge of finding the right job, the job you’ve spent the past four years studying for. In a competitive job market, many students find themselves struggling to find a job in their field, in fact only about 27 percent succeed. 83 percent aren’t likely to have a job lined up for after graduation. Also, 7 percent more males were able to secure a job after graduation according to a 2015 survey.

Although it seems that employment numbers are slowly rising. Data from the Bureau of Labor showed 2,000 more people over the age of 25 were gainfully employed in 2016 versus 2015. Although, having a degree may give students an edge when it comes to job hunting. Undergraduates with a bachelor’s degree aged 20 to 24 may be more likely to find employment than those with some college experience or high school diplomas.
